Steve Gruszewski opened the meeting at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Board members and administration, Angela
Cooper and Faye Williamson of the South Gibson Teachers Association were present along with teachers and patrons
of the South Gibson School Corporation.

Open the 2024 Budget, Bus Replacement, and Capital Projects Fund Hearing
Minutes
Steve Gruszewski opened the Budget Hearing and Capital and Bus Replacement. Mark Fehrenbacher objected to the Board advertising a higher tax rate and a lower assessed valuation. No other comments were mentioned. Tim Nurrenbern made a motion to close the hearing, which was seconded by Robin Angermeier, and the hearing closed on a 5-0 vote.

Open public hearing on the 2023-24 Collective Bargaining Agreement
Minutes
Steve Gruszewski opened the public hearing on the 2023-2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Mark Fehrenbacher objected to raising taxes to increase the starting salary floor for teachers. He also would like to see a reopener for emergency situations and suggested clearer terminology for the agreement to be retroactive to July 1. With no other comments, Stacy McClellan made a motion to close the hearing, which was seconded by Tim Nurrenbern and approved on a vote of 5-0.
