Outgoing President Dr. Conway Cox called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Besides members of the Board and Administration, Angela Cooper of the South Gibson Teachers Association, School Board Attorney Bob Kinkle and Princeton Daily Clarion reporter Sara Loesch. Attorney Jim MacDonald and Matt Holder were also present representing the Gibson County Commissioners.
Jim Morrow, Gibson County Clerk, conducted the oath of office for the newly elected members; Don Steinmetz, Steve Gruszewski and Dr. Conway Cox.
Janet McBee nominated David Lewis to be President of the South Gibson Board of School Trustees. The nomination was seconded by Tim Nurrenbern and the vote was 6 - 0.
