1. CALL TO ORDER

Minutes

Steve Gruszewski opened the meeting at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Board members and administration,
Angela Cooper of the South Gibson Teachers Association was present along with teachers and patrons of the
South Gibson School Corporation as well as SROs.


2. PATRON CONCERNS and AGENDA ITEM COMMENTS

Minutes

Steve Gruszewski opened the floor to patron concerns.  None were voiced.

Dr. Perry and the Board recognized the actions of SRO Fred Schleter while he was away at training.  These actions received media coverage.  SRO Scheleter was very appreciative of the Board providing him with the tools needed to help the victims of the traffic accident.

Negative lunch balances district-wide at the end of May were $15,718.16.

The Maximum Levy Growth Quotient for 2025 is 4%.

David Lewis led a discussion by the Board directing the Administration to explore the construction of a multipurpose facility that would provide practice space, concession stand, and restrooms in temperature-treated space (HVAC) space for patrons, students, and athletes to use on the campus of Gibson Southern High School.  Administration will take steps and provide the Board with updates and any decisions that will need to be made to bring this project to fruition.
