Janet McBee called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. In addition to Board members and members of the
administration, Angela Cooper of the South Gibson Teachers Association was in attendance. Patrons attending the meeting included students, parents, and principals of Haubstadt Community School, Owensville Community School, Fort Branch Community School, and Gibson Southern High School.

The floor was opened for patron concerns. Mark Fehrenbacher asked the Board about the concerns regarding Board Policy
5111 (e) as it relates to the education of students in public K-12 schools who are illegal aliens in the United
States he brought up last month. Dr. Humbaugh asked him to arrange a meeting with her to discuss.
Mr. Fehrenbacher asked how policies 2210, 2220, and 2240 related to the teaching of Critical Race Theory, the 1619 Project, and SEL. Dr. Humbaugh assured Mr. Fehrenbacher these topics, CRT, 1619, and SEL, are not in the curriculum at SGSC school.

I have this prepared but I want to wait until I have more time to review financial reports. If needed, this amount would be around $291,300 in additional appropriations in the calendar year 2021. I will bring this back in September, if needed, along with the budget for 2022.

Approval of raising adult prices to the Federal required level
Using the reimbursement rates above, adult meals must be at least:
Breakfast $2.47 or $2.50, if rounding to the nearest nickel (no commodity value-added)
Lunch $4.3175 + 0.2450 (commodity value from PY 2021) = $4.5625 or $4.57 or $4.60, if rounding to the nearest penny or nickel.
I recommend we raise prices to $2.50 for breakfast and $4.60 for lunch.
