In addition to board members and administration, Angela Cooper and John Spradley of the South Gibson Teachers Association, Corporate Counsel Bob Kinkle were present along with media representatives Madison Brooks of the Princeton Daily Clarion and Janice Barniak of the South Gibson Star-Times.

Mr. Lewis opened the public hearing on Collective Bargaining as required by SEA 390. With no comments by those in attendance, Tim Nurrenbern made a motion to close the hearing.  The motion was seconded by Dr. Cox and the hearing closed on a vote of 6 - 0.

Tim Nurrenbern made a motion to approve the dates for budget hearings and public hearings on teacher negotiations as presented.  Mike Bengert Seconded the motion and the motion passed 6 - 0.

The Board will approve the advertising of the budget on 17 September 2019.  The budget hearing and public hearing for the tentative agreement with the South Gibson Teachers Association will be on 15 October 2019.  On 29 October 2019, the Board will adopt the budget and ratify the contract with the South Gibson Teachers Association.
