School Board President Tim Nurrenbern called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Board members, administration, and Board Attorney Bob Kinkle, Angela Cooper and John Spradley of the South Gibson Teachers Association were in attendance along with media representative Quiche Matchen of the Princeton Daily Clarion. Also in attendance were students, parents and patrons of South Gibson as well as the principals of the Community Schools, Mark Wahl, Tasha Jourdan, and John Obermeier.

Dr. Humbaugh, the community school principals, and the Board gave recognition to students who were the high scorers of ISTEP, IREAD and ECA tests.

Carol Davis, a patron of the district, rose during patron concerns to ask the Board to name the auditorium at Gibson Southern High School in honor of Kathy Parks. Board President Tim Nurrenbern replied that the Board would take the request under consideration.
