Board President Don Steinmetz called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Board members and Administration, Board Attorney Bob Kinkle, Angela Cooper and John Spradley of the South Gibson Teachers Association were in attendence along with media representatives John Roark of the Princeton Daily Clarion and with Brian Paul Kaufman of the South Gibson Star Times. Gibson Southern teacher J. J. Epperson and several students were in attendance with Todd Mosby to describe their trip to Japan.

Board President Don Steinmetz called the 2017 Budget hearing to order to give the public and the Board an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the budget, the Capital Projects Plan, and the Bus Replacement Plan. No questions or comments were made. Tim Nurrenbern made a motion to adjourn the Budget Hearing and Dr. Cox seconded the motion. The motion passed and the Budget hearing was closed.
