School Board President Tim Nurrenbern called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.  In addition to Board members, administration and Board attorney Bob Kinkle, Robin Angermeier of the South Gibson Teachers Association was present along with patrons of the South Gibson School Corporations.  FBCS Principal Michael Galvin and GSHS teacher John Spradley were also in attendance with newly employed teachers of SGSC.  Alden Huering of the South Gibson Star Times represented the media.

Dr. Humbaugh and the Board recognized Alex Smith as a Gold Star Student.

Dr. Humbaugh informed the Board of the water issue which flooded the boiler room at Owensville Community School.  This disabled the HVAC system for the buildings which was responsible for OCS not having school on August 20, 2014.  All other buildings were in session with normal schedules.  An insurance claim will be filed to help cover the cost of the expenses associated with restoring the buildings equipment to normal operating condition.
