Elizabeth Hirsch called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Besides members of the Board and Administration, Robin Angermeier of the South Gibson Teachers Association was present along with GSHS Teacher John Spradley and members of the GSHS Student Tech Corps. Various patrons along with Tabitha Waggoner of the Princeton Daily Clarion and Allen Heuring of the South Gibson Star Times.

GSHS Teacher John Spradley and students in the GSHS Tech Corps demonstrated the use of Chromebooks and Schoology for the Board. This was done to illustrate how classes at GSHS will be conducted beginning in the fall of 2013. After this demonstration, Janet McBee made a motion to approve the purchase of 700 Chromebooks, with the management system, and extended warranty from Textbook Rental fund. David Lewis seconded the motion, and the motion passed 4/0.
